Hmm, no I don't typically use any stock photos, my original works are from imagination. Sometimes I may use a mirror to get the pose of something right, or Tom. I seldom use reference photos, and if I do, its usually quite a specific part of the picture I would take notes on. Thank you dear, and I'm glad you like it!!!
I really love how you've used the colour palette, you made a challenging colour palette work really well and evoke quite a response (ie I really like looking at this ha). But i also love the expression, its a strange contrast with the colours isn't it? Great job!
Thank you very much for such a lovely comment! When I had chosen the pallet, I decided that for the task it should show an emotion we don't typically associate with these kinds of colours. Indeed we often see such bright vivid colours as a thing of happiness. It was very interesting seeing other peoples submissions and trying to use these colours to best interpret a similar emotion. I'm glad you think it's worked out! Makes me feel so good inside
